Sara strode through the halls, her mind racing. She had only just met Captain Allen, and now Captain Jones was taking over. Her only hope was that her first meeting with this Captain would be less hostile. The doors hissed open and the XO’s boots stuck the floor of the bridge. “Good morning Commander.” a chipper young scientist said. “Good morning Ensign. Is the Captain in his ready room?” Sara asked. “I believe so, sir.” She nodded. “Thank you.” With that, Sara walked to the ready room door and pressed the chime.
