T’Rea walked through the halls with a surprising aura of happiness for a Vulcan. She smiled and looked around the whole way down the hall. People looked at her like she was crazy but she didn’t care. She loved the looks of this ship already.

She eventually came upon the Counseling Center. This was her destination, but she kept letting herself get sidetracked by almost everything. Oh well, she thought. She got here, didn’t she?

She collected her thoughts, and pressed the button to open the door. When she walked in, she immediately got whisked away from her task by how cool she thought the room looked. She could be seen smiling quite happily, just looking around the room, content with herself. It was unclear if she would ever step farther in and accomplish what she meant to accomplish.

Lieutenant T’Rea (CSO)

As T’Rea entered the room, Keitah emerged from another adjacent room and warmly greeted her. In her hand, Keitah held a steaming cup of green tea. The vision of the woman triggered memories of the conversation she had previously shared with Colonel Lardel regarding Vulcans. “Hello,” she said. “You must be our new Science Officer. I’m LeKeitah Naisyr, the ship’s counselor. I assume you’re here for your onboarding psych evaluation?”

Naisyr, Counselor

She turned to look at Ketiah. “That I am. My name is T’Rea. Nice to meet you!” She said, smiling sweetly at Ketiah. It appeared she used her emotions more like a human than a Vulcan. She looked at his drink for a moment as well.

Lieutenant T’Rea (CSO)

Keitah smiled back at T’Rea, appreciating the warmth and sincerity in her expression. She noticed T’Rea’s attention directed towards her drink and decided to offer some information.

“I am drinking a cup of green tea,” Keitah said, holding it up slightly. “It’s a blend I personally enjoy. This variation is actually from my home world. It has a calming effect and is known for its numerous health benefits. Way better than the Earth version. Would you like a cup? It might help create a relaxed atmosphere for our conversation.”

Keitah motioned towards a nearby table with a couple of chairs. “We can sit there and proceed with your onboarding psych evaluation. It’s a standard procedure for new crew members to ensure we understand your needs and provide any support you may require during your time on the ship.”

She took a sip of her tea, allowing the steam to waft upward, and then set the cup back down on the saucer. “Of course, it’s entirely up to you if you’d like to have a cup. I’m here to assist you and make this process as comfortable as possible.”

OOC: I am sorry, I just noticed I typed “his” instead of “hers” earlier. So sorry.

IC:

“I would quite like a cup thank you.” T’Rea said, taking one of the chairs. She sat back a little, unable to wipe the smile off her face. “How long have you been aboard?” She asked, trying to make small talk.

Keitah nodded, ordered another cup from the replicator and handed it to T’Rea before taking a seat.
As T’Rea asked about Keitah’s time aboard the ship, Keitah placed her cup on the table and crossed her legs comfortably. “I’ve been aboard for about two years now,” she replied, taking a moment to reflect. “Time flies when you’re exploring the vast reaches of space. It’s been an incredible journey so far, filled with new discoveries and fascinating encounters.”

She took another sip of her tea, considering her words. “The crew here is like a family to me. We’ve traveled to distant star systems, encountered alien civilizations, and overcome challenges together. It’s a dynamic environment, constantly changing and keeping us on our toes. But it’s also rewarding, knowing that we’re pushing the boundaries of knowledge and contributing to the advancement of humanity.”

Keitah paused for a moment, studying T’Rea’s expression. “What about you? How did you find your way to this ship? And what are you looking forward to in your time here?” she asked, interested in getting to know her new crewmate.

Naisyr, Counselor

“I was given the opportunity when I was serving as a Junior on my previous ship. I just had to jump on it. Everything about serving here, as a DH no less, was nothing short of exciting. I guess you could say I’m looking forward to everything, but most specifically the discoveries and hopefully becoming friends with the crew.”

T’Rea took a sip of the tea, and her eyes widened for a moment. “This is amazing! Is this a personal recipe?” She asked, just before taking another large sip.
