The turbolift stopped at deck thirty three. The door opened and off steped a human looking woman. She stepped out into the corridor and looked around. A PADD in her hand as she used it to navigate the corridors of the deck to get to her location. She headed towards the psychological suite. Turning towards the door she stepped into the compartment. She looked thoughtful as she observed those around. The fiery red haired woman had her hair up in a braided bun. She looked around the compartment before she stood off to the side, waiting.

Dr. Tulbrad was approached by a dark-skinned, ebony-eyed Betazoid woman with jet-black straight hair that fell past her waist. Both her hands were behind her back as she said, “You must be Dr. Tulbrad, the new CMO.” Keitah as she removed one hand from behind her back and extended it in greeting with a warm smile.

Tulbrad smiled in turn and accepted the hand. She gave it a firm grip and a smile. “I didn’t expect to run into another betazoid…” she says her face portrayed some pleased shock. Though she quickly recovered and nodded. “Yes, I am Kelvasi Tulbrad.” Her smile judt as bright as before, “A pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

“Likewise,” said Keitah. “I am LeKeitah Naisyr. Ship’s counselor. Why don’t we go into my office?” she said as she motioned for the woman to follow her. “Dr. Tulbrad, where were you stationed before you were placed on the Chimera?” she asked as they walked to her office.

Kevasi smiled and nodded, and then followed the woman. She looked thoughtful for a few moments, as they headed onward. “I was on a ship called the USS Iyashi a Phoenix Class Medical Ship. I was quite happy that I happened to be assigned to the ship. I had heard reports that the Iyashi had saved me from the raid on Betazed when I was a mere infant.” She explained softly as they traveled. “I was raised on Earth.”

“So you served on the ship that rescued you as a child? What a wonderful coincidence that you were assigned to the ship. Was it your first ship assignment?”
Keitah always thought it was a shame that a Betazoid could not be raised on their home planet. Yes, Earth was great but they missed out on all the authentic culture of Betazed. “Have you had an opportunity to spend any significant time on Betazed?” she asked.

Kevasi nodded, she chuckled after. “It did seem as though it was a nice coincidence myself. It was actually, after my training ship.” There was a soft sigh and she shook her head. “I was adopted by two doctors that were contracted under the Federation. So I suppose I was put in a position that influenced my joining of Starfleet. My adoptive mother was a physician, and my father a surgeon. I pretty much went through regular schooling, then med school, and then joined up in Starfleet. I haven’t really had time or ability to try to visit Betazed. Maybe I will be lucky and a ship will bring me by it, and I’ll be able to visit.” She explained running a hand through her firey red hair.
