‘Right, this should be it’ Scott said quietly to himself as he stood outside the door to the Security Office.
He was slightly embarrassed at how long it had taken him to get here. It had taken him long enough to find the Turbolift to get to Deck 29 yet alone to find his way to the Security Office. But it’d been some time since Scott had walked the corridors of a Starship and he knew that in time these corridors would soon be familiar and comfortable to him.

Of all his boarding check-ins, this one with his new Department Head was the one he was most keen to do. Scott was determined to do well in his job. Trying to make himself a changed man - he so desperately wanted to be a competent and useful member of the Chimera’s Crew and he knew that to do this it would involve much close working and learning from his Department Head. To Scott this meeting and the relationship that would be created from it was so important and he was really keen for it to go well.

‘No pressure then…’ He thought sarcastically to himself as he adjusted his shaggy hair, pulled down on his Uniform Tunic Top and walked into the Security Office.

He walked slowly at first, checking off the rooms in his head as he saw them. In anticipation of his new role he’d spent a lot of time reading up on the Chimera and her Deck Layout.
‘Interrogation One… Observation Room… Interrogation Two… ah! COS’s Office” He walked over to the door, made sure he was standing up straight and pressed the door chime. He let out a nervous sigh as he waited to be called in.
