It took around five minutes for Lieutenants Lunan, Sutret and the Choo’da Ambassador to reach Engineering. When the oversized doors parted to reveal the warp core at the centre, Lunan couldn’t help but grin at the sight of the off-green coloured liquid Kymorite flowing through the matter-antimatter chamber. Several officers were working with black gloves over their hands and protective eyewear over their eyes and nose. The reason for this was to ensure that the seering heat from the crystals did not injure the Engineering crew. Once the team had crossed into the room, Lunan grinned and tapped Koria on the shoulder, “Do you want to take this or should I?”
