Ella had deposited her things in her quarters quickly, she didn’t want to waste time getting to know the room that would be hers for the foreseeable future, besides none of her things had been delivered from the shuttle yet and she wanted to decorate when they were in. So instead she made her way to the Captain’s ready room, Ella had already sent the Captain a message form the LCAR System in her quarters to inform her of her arrival and that she would be making a stop by shortly and being prompt was one of Ella’s characteristics.

She entered through the doos to the CIC, which gave her time to stop and take in her surroundings. It was truly something and better than any bridge she’d been on to date. People in a rainbow of coloured uniforms were going about the shift and performing the tasks they had been giving, she even noticed some of those in gold standing by security consoles and talking to one another looking in her direction, she smiled and continued over to the Captain’s ready room which had access onto the CIC. She pressed the door chime and waited patiently.

She caught her reflection in the reflective material of a bulkhead and she could see from her waist up, she was still wearing her security uniform since there was no better way to meet with the Captain and atop her head was her families gold and quartz head chain. Below and where the bulkhead stopped being a reflection was a skirt and knee-high boots. Yep, that’s right nothing was more fun than delivering justice, negotiating peace deals or investigating a string of thefts than doing it in a skirt and boots.
