Neribi finished her typical patrol of the cargo bays, generally keeping busy with routine tasks until she was taken away with something mission related. She didn’t mind the tasks, it gave her an opportunity to familiarize herself with parts of the ship so she could respond quickly and effectively in a higher stress situation.

It still did have the potential to be rather boring, but it was a necessary task.

The XO just happened to be wandering the decks, familiarising herself with the ship, when she rounded a corner and nearly collided with a security officer. She suppressed a startled yell. “Making your evening rounds Ensign?” She asked as she tried internally to compose herself.
