“Sure, we might even see an ice wampa!” Jacen said, remembering the old Earth film with the giant monster. He didn’t know exactly what this zone would have, it seemed to have rides, lodges, hot springs in the middle of the ice. It seemed almost like an Icelandic paradise mixing snow ice and heat in a perfect harmony, all the while characters from classics as Frozen, Star Wars, Ice Pirates, and Johnny Freeze could be seen.

“A what?” Relann said with confusion. “Oh never mind, just point it out when you see one,” she said with a laugh. This was certainly going to be an adventure and she knew a lot of the time she would just have to go with it.

The trio made their way off to the shuttles, each zone equipped with gear and clothes they could use if they wished to change and feel more acclimated would be found as soon as they got off.

Sowyn was quietly taking everything in, but she was positively vibrating with excitement. She tried to keep up with her parents, but every once in awhile something would catch her eye and she’d fall back for a moment.

As they came along, a small snowman come up and got in front of Sowyn. “Greetings, and welcome to the ice caps of Partinex! I am Olaf, and you are?” he asked, with a since of whimsy and enthusiasm in his voice.

Sowyn looked at Jacen with a slightly odd expression and then back at the snowman. “Sowyn,” she said softly. “But Olaf is’t your real name. You’re just pretending,” she said seriously.

“Sowyn…” Relann chided gently, knowing their daughter was reading minds again.

“What?” the girl said with a slight pout. “But he’s not. He’s a person pretending to be Olaf.” She leaned in towards the snowman. “But you do seem quite fun,” she whispered.

The giant snowman seemed confused as he looked at the parents. Not knowing her telepathic nature, he had been trained of such possibilities. “You are correct little one, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have some fun. That’s what this world is about, fun and adventure!” he said as he patted her softly on the head and then looked at the two. “If you need any help with any help just locate any of my friends, or one of the many kiosk or heating zones, stay warm while you explore the frozen wastes!”
