She was a pretty brunette. Well, for right now, anyway. Her hair was back within regulation as neat as her uniform. She stepped into Engineering and looked around. It was so comforting to be millions of miles from where she had been just months before. Had it only been months? Sometimes it felt like lifetimes ago. She nodded and smiled to a few who looked up at her and glanced around looking for the Chief Engineer. If he wasn’t within sight, she’d ask the nearest crewmember for his location.
