John-King had served for so long on Starships of various kinds that he instinctively knew how to find the captain’s ready room. For the Mythology Class USS Atlantis, that was Deck 1, aft of the bridge.

John-King turned up outside the ready room, pushing a covered trolley in front of him, and pushed the chim to advise the captain that she had a visitor.

As the chime sounded, a voice came from behind him. “Excuse me, Sir. I’m going to have to ask you to step away from the door and the trolly and please keep your hands where I can see them.”

The voice came from a young Bajoran Lieutenant dressed in the uniform of the Security section. As he gave the unidentified man his instructions, he tapped his badge =^= Bridge to Security. Intruder. =^=
