Hello Atlanteans,

Every beginning has an ending and every ending has a beginning but it is the journey that matters.

A close friend told me this once and I have held onto the idea as my life has changed. While some of you know and some may not, Liam is finishing up his degree at the university. Everyone knows Liam and I’s stance that real life takes precedence over writing and right now education takes precedence. His studies and real-life commitments, like many of us, have created a new balance we are all trying to settle into. So while this is an ending of sorts it is also a new beginning. After a long discussion, Liam Scheopp is now going to be stepping into a new position on the Atlantis. Never fear, SEAI will still be around as a counselor to help keep Kelly’s meds prescribed and safely being dispensed in her coffee.

Personally I would like to say thank you for the time Liam has served as my executive officer. He was always there to lend an ear and help me make some difficult decisions. The time and effort he devoted to the ship behind the scenes was a godsend at times. I am just lucky however that his advice and wisdom will still be available to help me in my journey as your captain. Thank you, Liam, for all you have done for me, the crew, and the Atlantis.
