Frank had left the cramped bowels of the ship on deck 45 which happens to be on his standard route of patrol for the week. He passed by his quarters twice before moving up to Deck 44 via the Jeffries Tube 35 Beta. Frank appreciated the night shift Patrol due to low activity from the crew and the lack of noise. He relished the quietness.
