Sitting in her office, SEAI made sure that everything was as it should be. She had prepared a social experiment to try and understand organics better, and part of that was listening to the complaints of said organics to try and ‘help’ them. No matter the issue, at least she would have some good material to amuse herself with later on.

OOC: Since I have found myself slacking a bit in terms of posting, I have opened this for your characters to come in and unload some issues on SEAI. Hopefully she doesn’t mess things up too badly…

SEAI (Not sure what she is in this point of the timeline)

Kelly walked in to SEAI’s office with a concerned expression on her face. “SEAI got a minute. I am not sure if you need to be my number one for this or the counselor. I’ll let you figure it out,” she said instantly dropping into her seat. Kelly tended to be informal with the people close to her yr even this might be too informal. Either way SEAI was going to have to get used to it being Kelly’s right hand now on the ship. “Where’s the coffee,” she requested tapping either side of the chair in a back and forth rhythm.

SEAI raised an eyebrow as she responded, “Considering the usual amount that you consume, I question if you even need some right now. However, I am lacking the context to answer to if someone hid all the coffee on the ship from you, or if I have any as refreshments.”

“Someone is hiding coffee,” she sat up as if they just announced a red alert. “Nash,” she said softly with her mind running scenarios as to why he would do that. It only took a second for her to realize SEAI’s response was to her response of where’s the coffee. Leaning back she laughed hard. SEAI was an amazing first officer and Kelly was lucky to her but there were a few growing pains in this dynamic duo like any other relationship. “I meant where’s the coffee as a request and not a question. No one would be stupid enough to horde coffee,” she waved the idea off like it was a bad smell. “I mean thats like a keelhauling offense.” Standing up she moved to the replicator. “May I,” she asked.

The doors swished open and the hulking figure of the Chief Security Officer bent his way into the room. “Heya, Commander. I have a ques -” and he stopped short seeing Kelly and said “Oh, hey Skipper. Sorry to intrude. I can come back.” and he turned to make his way to the door.

Mardusk, CoS

“No, stay. We can call it a group thing. Like Mike’s only dry,” Kelly waved him back in. Mardusk tended to keep quiet about most everything. When he did get vocal about a topic most smart people got quiet. Kelly also had to admit that if Mardusk was curious about something then she was curious about what he was pondering. Her problems were trivial. Maybe Mardusk’s were more interesting.
