Kelly sat at her desk tapping the stylus rhythmically. The murder mystery concept sounded fun. She could easily find an interesting program and plug it into the holodeck but most of those programs did not take too many brain cells to figure out. Kelly wanted to see how her crew worked together. =/\=Emma can you come to my office=/\=Kelly ordered over the comm.

Emma paused as she heard the page. She hadn’t meet Kelly yet. Jacen had talked about her and a few others in the crew, but she just hadn’t seen her at all yet. She turned and made it to the turbolift and exited off the bridge.

Nodding at the crew she turned and paused as she paged the door. All outward signs someone might associate with nervousness didn’t show, no breathing or sweat to be seen but her face seemed to itch with a worried brow. Some of the Captains hadn’t taking kindly to meeting her at all. She couldn’t help but feel half the time she wasn’t even wanted on this ship.

“Come,” Kelly said as she heard the chime. Of all the crew, EMMA was the one Kelly worried about meeting the most. From a perfectly theoretical standpoint, EMMA was a bunch of fancy and complex 1’s and 0’s. She had a birth like a star where she did not grow and become who she was. EMMA just was from the second she came online. However, EMMA had grown into the person that was walking into Kelly’s office. The hologram person had adapted learned and experienced things that made her unique. Kelly had already accepted the as part of the crew but the bigger part was could Kelly see past everything and find the woman walking towards her as real as a friend.

“EMMA hello. GLad to finally meet you,” Kelly said extending a hand on autopilot.
