SNIPAs she sat back down in her chair, he picked up and took a sip, a definite color having come to his cheeks from her proximity moments ago and his heart was racing with the possibilities of that proximity. Placing the cup down again he stood slowly and adjusted the waistband of his pyjamas, then reached down and took her hand, pulling her up so that she was facing him. He stepped in close and cupped her cheeks with his hands, angling her head up and kissed her again, tasting the bacon she had just taken from the plate. This kiss was soft, long and searching but finally he broke it off and moved his head back. “I better get ready for work,” he said to Jessica and picked up another piece of bacon, taking a bite and grinning at her.

Jessica pressed every millimeter of her body against him, slowly moving her hands from his waist, up his chest, and finally around the back of his neck. As they separated from the kiss, her eyes were slightly glassy as they looked into his for a few moments, searching for something without knowing really for what. A light blush creeped down her cheeks to her neck to the exposed portion of skin where the robe’s sides didn’t quite meet. She looked slightly off kilter for one more moment and then, gathering her wits around her, she spun on her heel and made her way over to the clothing that had been deposited on the floor of the living area. Yanking the tie of the robe, it easily dropped off her small form and she quickly dressed in her clothes from the previous evening. She knew that she could have drawn it out a bit and continued her tease, but the man did have a point… she also had a shift to be at shortly and she needed to get back to her quarters to pull on her uniform.
A few moments later, she returned her attention to Nash and approached him once again. One light, soft, teasing kiss later, she rested her hand on the middle of his chest and whispered, “see you around, Commander” and made her way to the door of his quarters.

Nash shook out his tunic as she dressed, and thanked modern technology for wrinkle free material. Folding it over a nearby chair he cleaned up their breakfast, then paused as she kissed him goodbye.
“Doctor Jessica,” he said to her, and grinned. He held his hand over hers as she lay it on his chest, and watched her leave as the doors slid shut behind her, then turned and ran his hands over his face and wondered about the previous night. A shower and another coffee would centre him first.
15 minutes later and Nash, dressed and looking like the Bridge Officer he was supposed to be, came to a stop in his quickly tidied quarters and looked around. It was quiet, and he stood for a moment and looked over the room. Reaching into his tunic pocket he realized he had no cigar, so he moved to the ornate box on his desk and opened the lid. He lifted out a fresh cigar, and the silver flip lighter came out just after it, skull and crossbones etched into the side roughly. It was time to head to work.
