<snip>Jessica made her way out of the bathroom attached to Nash’s bedroom. Wrapped in his towel that she had stolen from a drying rack inside, she quickly finger combed her long hair and loosely braided it out of the way since it was still fairly damp from her shower. Glancing over at Nash, still lying in the bed, she gave him an impish grin, held up one finger as if to tell him to wait a moment, and sashayed out of the bedroom, making her way to the desk where she had seen his uniform top draped. While he likely had more around his bedroom, searching in his closets and dressers wasn’t high on her current list of agenda items. Making him pay for his secretive behavior? That definitely was at the top. Glancing back at the bedroom, she adjusted her position so that she was out of sight of Nash and quickly pulled on his tunic.
Nash, lying on his back and having been watching her quietly as she came out of the bathroom, pushed himself up first onto his elbows then further on his hands as he tried to crane his neck to peek around the door frame at what Jessica was getting upto. He was bare chested but sometime that morning had found a pair of pyjama trousers and slipped into them. He raised a lone eyebrow in wonder, and waited to see what the intoxicatingly interesting and beautiful woman was getting upto. It had been a long time since Nash had had any kind of company that he found himself interested in the next day, and the feeling was almost always mutual. Then again, Nash had found himself far more interested in many more things about Jessica the previous night than just the way it had ended.
Between her loud stomach and Nash’s amusement, Jess’ giggles were overtaking her and she barely heard his comments until a beat later when they processed. Sticking her tongue out at him, she informed him, “teal is a much better color for me than red, as are a few less pips.” She winked at him, hoping that he would catch on to the information that she gave him. As his arms went around her waist, she immediately snuggled against him and, when he mentioned needing to work soon, she looked into his eyes with an enormous, playful pout.
Jessica couldn’t contain her laughter as she made her way back into his sight range and stood in the junction between the bedroom and the lounge area. Striking a playfully commanding pose with her hands on her hips, she bit her lower lip to stop her laughter, smirked at him, and commented, with a raised eyebrow, “I think it’s a good look, don’t you?” As if to put emphasis on the light-hearted moment, her stomach growled spectacularly loudly for someone with such a small frame.

Grinning, he rolled out of bed and stretched his shoulders as he walked through the bedroom door and into his quarters where Jessica was teasing him. “I think you suit that look perfectly,” he said to her, “even the pips. There is something about a woman in Red that gets the heart pumping more.” He reached her and slipped his hands around her waist, and casually looked into her eyes as he smirked. “But you know that at some point very soon, I’m going to need that back.” He winked slowly at her and bit his lip slightly.
Then, he turned her towards the couch and with a short step, they were beside it. He stepped into her and softly kissed her forehead, then raised her chin so she looked up at him. “I have a shift to get to, soonish. But I have time to wrestle you out of my shirt and get us breakfast a little after. Jessica?” His last word, her name, hung in the air as if he expected her to let him know now who she was. She knew who he was, but he was now at the disadvantage of not knowing where to find her again without searching the ship.

Jessica’s eyes lit up at the mention of wrestling her out of the shirt and she gave him a wicked look, especially with the indication that he wanted her to fill in her last name. Wiggling out of his arms, she darted around to the other side of the couch and stuck her tongue out at him again. “That’s Doctor Jessica to you,” she responded with an impish grin. “And if you want your uniform shirt back or my last name, you’ll have to catch me first.” She played with her braided hair as she looked at him innocently from the other side of the couch, but as her insides trembled slightly, she knew that she wasn’t going to be too hard to catch and that she couldn’t wait for his hands to be on her again.

“A Doctor huh?” Nash said as he grinned, and slowly walked to the end of the couch. The previous nights activities had left him hungry, deeply hungry but he could play her game and win he better. Her playful sass also intrigued him, as did wrestling her out of his uniform. “Well that explains that thing you did last night, you know..” he made a motion with his had and grinned wickedly, but didn’t try and describe it further.
Instead, he made a dash to his left, sudden, trying to catch her off guard. He wasn’t a small man and the couch wasn’t overly long, so he thought his chances were good.
