Having registered their presence, Jessica turned to Ryley. “Are you ready to go exploring, sir?” she asked, her tone absurdly polite. “I believe the captain wanted us to head to the trading district,” she continued.

Ryley who wasn’t sure if his med kit counted as a weapon or not adjusted his grip on his cane and leaned onto it. “Sure…I could use a new pair of shoes. Lead on MacDuff.” He said gesturing with his free hand and not the cane lest this be considered a threatening sort of behaviour.
