“Well that’s boring” he sighed as he examined the results. He pulled a PaDD out if his back pocket and hooking the handle of his cane around an always seemingly nearby rolling stool, pulled it towards himself and sat down. “ So what’s your glitch?”

“I wasn’t aware this was a psychological evaluation as well as a physical,” Jessica responded with a smirk. “I’m just happy to have the opportunity to serve Starfleet as a doctor, sir,” she responded, with a twinge of sarcasm on the “sir.” She had gone through medical school before deciding on Starfleet as a career path, so that was a spectacularly uninformative statement. In one motion, she catapulted off the bio bed and was on her feet beside Ryley. She was momentarily amused that she could actually look a touch down on him now that he was seated. That wasn’t particularly common from her height.

Ryley smirked. “All conversations with me are a psychological evaluation. Keep note of that by the way it will maybe come in useful in future.” He fiddled with the tricorder. “Also, don’t call me sir. Ryley’s fine.”

“I’ll keep that in mind, sir,” Jessica responded, sweetly.

He listened to her a moment and then raised his eyebrows as she moved herself from the bed and was at his side. He saw the amusement in her face, “having fun there princess?” He asked.

“Always!” came the bubbly response as she brushed herself off playfully. “Are we all set, then? Do you have any assignments for me now?”
