With Keene managing the situation on Deck 7 & 8, the CE monitoring everything engineering related on the bridge, and the bridge ignoring her communications entirely, Relann had no choice but to simply watch and wait until there was something she could specifically do. After all, she herself was not an engineer. For now she would simply keep an eye on the situation with what the computer could tell her.

Keene’s voice came over the comm,

=^= Keene to engineering. Deck 8 is a complete mess Sir. Neither the auto shut downs on the plasma conduits, nor the emergency containment fields I lowered seem to have operated correctly. We’ve got massive fire damage across the whole of this area...... =^=

There was a brief pause and a faint clatter of metal.

=^= .....Sir, this whole area of the ship is without primary power and I estimate that we’re gonna need a full drydocking to fix her up, there is no way we can fix this with the tools we have to hand, it’s like we took a full volley of torps with our shields down. I’m proceeding to the upper primary computer core to assess if the system has been damaged. =^=

=/\=We won’t have drydock options for awhile Ensign. I’ll inform the bridge, but you’ll have to make do. Seal off areas that are nonfunctional. Patch jobs will have to be the order of the day.=/\= If Jacen had a better idea then he could talk to his team, since she was not the expert here.

=/\=Fell to bridge. Ensign Keen reports that Deck 7 & 8 have taken significant damage, mostly from fire. They’re having issues with containment fields and shutting down plasma conduits. The damage won’t be able to be dealt with out here and that means it’s a significant weak spot and could prove problematic for us.=/\=

The computer core was, fortunately, undamaged. But the assessment that they would need a space dock was spot on. Until major repairs were done at a high end facility they would be like a person with one arm tied behind their back, functional but less that effective.

Moving to another console with a larger display, Fell sighed. “Computer, analyze damage reports. Indicate which areas can be patched with resources on hand and what level of functionality that brings the ship up to.”

The computer seemed to pause as it collected the information. Crew Quarters Deck 6, 7, and 8 loss of 14 units (38 beds), Repairable with parts on board or replicate-able. Primary phaser array EPS conduit destroyed, insufficient parts - requires parts and space dock. EPS power to Upper Primary Computer Core damaged, 72% powered. Repairable with parts present of replicate-able. Transporter Room 1 and 2 offline due to damage to EPS system no parts available. Does not require a space dock.

“Well, at least that’s positive,” Relann muttered as she gathered the data on the required repairs and parts they needed to replicate..

The XO switched the comm to the bridge. =/\=Engineering to Bridge. Repairs and part replication is underway, but we’ve sustained major damage to the EPS that we can’t handle out here. Note that Transporter Rooms 1 & 2 are out of commission, as well as the primary phaser array. My suggestion would be not to pick any fights right now, especially since we’ve also got power issues with the primary computer core that we can’t fix out here.=/\=

=/\=Status up there?=/\= Did she sound a bit stressed? She was doing her best to exude calm in the fray that was engineering, but she was only getting hints f what was going on up on the bridge.
