“Oh is that how it’s going to be Bright Eyes?” Jacen said, wiping the snow from his face as he saw her duck away. “Okay Sowyn who’s team you going to be on… do I have to take you both own or do we team up on mom?” he asked as he looked over at her, smile twinkling as he did.

“Let’s get her!” Sowyn said with a gleeful sparkle in her violet eyes.

Relann laughed and darted off to find shelter behind a snowbank and lobbed a snowball in their direction.

Jacen smiled as Sowyn and him went after Relann. It was two on one he found the hunt for her to be funny. “Come on we can get her Sowyn!” he shouted smiling from ear to ear.

There was a laugh as Relann moved farther behind a structure that later she’d learn was a large colourful sign. Giggling, Sowyn gathered up some snow and went off to find her mother.

A snowball flew high in Jacen’s direction and it was clear the former security officer was focusing her firepower on her husband.

“Okay, new plan… tackle her!” Jacen said as he pushed ahead. He figured he could get on top of her before she had a chance to swing on him again. “She is ticklish, you know what to do Sowyn.” Jacen said as he ran at full speed at her.

Giggling, Sowyn ran around the sign in the direction that Relann had gone, forcing her mother to run the other way. Of course that was going to lead right to Jacen. Of course, she knew he was there, but it was either run for the open and risk being tackled there or be cornered by both of them. If she was going down, she was giving herself options!

Gathering a snowball, she moved as swiftly in the snow as her boots would allow and pelted the snowball at her husband as she attempted to run past him.

The truth was Jacen knew he would have to take the hits, the better tactic was to brace for them and continue the charge. She was no slouch in her aim but for all her fancy moves he still could out lift her. Aim for the waist and hoist her on his back and all she could do was flail and he knew it, he was taller weighed more and he eliminated her sound footing to try and wrestle out of his grasp.

There was one thing though, he knew she would know this too. That’s what made this fun, who could perform the moves best. Moving down he aimed his body low so his shoulder could be right at her waist in order to grab and lift.
