Jen was looking through the crew lists .. right after reports of damages that were repaired from their last mission. They had been substantial in no small way and the corps of engineers had had a field day with it. While not a record by any standard they were up there in their estimations of how badly the ship had been ‘broken’. A name popped up. CTO. And said Zachary Hartley had been aboard for a while now. Had he been that busy? There were others, the standard crew leaving and others coming on but the title sparked his interest and (in part, annoyance) at not having seen him yet. Something that should have been corrected some time back.

Zach had been, embarrassingly, fighting with the largest of his travel trunks… the one with his extra uniforms, delaying his normal check-ins and had just stepped out of the shower when the call came in. Tapping the Commbadge on the table by the bed.

Quickly drying his hair and body, Zach quickly dressed and after a final check in the mirror, hurried out to the Bridge.

At just shy of five minutes, Zach Hartley stepped off the lift and moments later hit the chime on the Ready Room door and waited.
