SnipKaden was encouraged with the information he had heard from the Narvhalarians but knew this was not going to be easy to accomplish. He was working on making some items which he had been provided from the Commander. He just provided the items to the Commander as he finished getting them made from the 3d printer.

Chief EngineerMax continued to pull parts out of the 3d printer and then programmed the printer to make the next part. He then provided the parts to Jen in order to get the setup fixed to help fix the issue with the external interference from effecting the Atlantis.

Chief EngineerJen inspected the subspace unit. “And this is programmed for Starfleet Federation Standard frequencies? Wait, choose a particular unique frequency within that standard range and log it in fleet frequency ID as tagged for the Narvhalarians. That way if we change our frequencies with time computer identifiers can still note that for them when or if they choose to make contact.”
He paused. “And, make it easy. Have only one switch on the unit for on and off. No point in needing to send them a manual when you are ready, transport it down to .. uh, these coordinates. I think they are as ready for us to leave as they are for the Romulans. Clear?”
- Jen, XOKaden tried to not let out a bit of laughter but responded, “Yes ma’am, it is. I have already notated the frequency for the Narvhalarians. I knew this was going to be very specific and needed to make sure something was notated. It only has one switch for off and on. I wanted to make sure it was very simple. It is already ready to go down to the planet. I will have to send down momentarily. I believe this is true about them being ready to get us out of their hair.” He then hit is comm badge and said =/\=Lt Buchanan to transporter. Please send down the device to the location marked.=/\= He waited for the device to disappear.

Chief Engineer“Good job,” Jen said, giving Kaden’s shoulder a clap. “I’ll leave it to you then to finish that.”
- Jen, XOOOC: I’m guessing the GM should be handling the beam down for this. Since I asked transporter room but otherwise its ready to go.
Kaden continued to verify everything was good on the item with his scanner while waiting for the transporter room was able to beam it down. He was not sure what was going on that caused them to be busy to not beam the device down yet. He just waited for their response.

Chief EngineerThe transporter chief confirmed receipt of the command with a quick nod. -=^=Aye, sir. Locking onto the coordinates now.=^= With a swift series of commands on the console, the transporter engaged, and the transmitter shimmered before disappearing from the pad.
The chief monitored the signal, waiting for confirmation. Seconds later, a green indicator blinked on the console, followed by a soft chime. =^=Device successfully beamed to the designated coordinates, sir. Receiving a confirmation ping from the Narvhalarians—their signal shows they’ve received it.=^=

USS AtlantisNot entirely gone yet, Jen watched the device disappear. One more detail out of the way. “Right Chief, the locals want us, how do you say it, out of Dodge sooner than later. Get to Engineering and lets prepare for departure. I need power prioritized to engines and the tractor beam. We’ll be escorting the Romulans out as well.”
- Jen, XOKaden expected them not wanting us here based on what had been going on so he knew the comment by Jen was expected. He then replied, “Yes ma’am. I will head back to engineering and provide as much power as I can provide to the engines and tractor beam as requested. Is there anything else you need before I go?” He then waited for confirmation before leaving.

“If we can drop our ‘cargo’ without issue I’ll be happy,” Jen said. “Once you see the list of ‘to fix’ items from our incident that will be enough to keep you busy till we hit a Starbase. They are going to really not like us. We keep breaking their ship.” Jen paused near the transporter console. “On your way,” he said. “Nice work.”
After all were gone Jen remained there staring at the empty transporter platform. The air still had a staleness to it and he could swear that he was breathing in dustmotes that tickled his nose and irritated his antennae. Still they got lucky this time. Very lucky. As big a ship as this was space was bigger and held more surprises that he could imagine or prepare for. Well, so be it. How different was that than a ground battle with an opposing force that wanted to outflank you and you they? He smiled. Sometimes he still dreamed of that. Colonel th’Jir. Sometimes he missed those days.
