Hello Atlanteans,

I am here to say I am so sorry for being absent the past few weeks. This summer was the craziest I have had in a long time. My father passed at Christmas. He was career Navy so he was buried with full military honors; however, this took several months to plan and organize with the DOD and we did not have the ceremony until late July. Yes, it took almost 6 months to arrange. My parents were married for 57 years so it has been a lot helping her adjust. I also saw my kid graduate college and spent this summer helping them navigate the world of getting a job. Good new…they are now gainfully employed lol.

I am mentioning all this because I wanted the crew to know why I have been so absent recently. Life is finally returning to a semblance of normalcy. I promise that I will be back up and running in the next week hitting all the threads I have missed. If I miss a thread please bump it.

I appreciate your understanding. You are a great crew and a fabulous bunch of writers. I am lucky to have all of you.
