Kelly entered the room looking at everyone that had arrived. She was less than thrilled with the situation but not everything was under her control. Her mind drifted to the old saying from her grandmother. Oh God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. There would be fallout from this little endeavor however Kelly hoped it would be minimal from all sides. Command wanted results. She had to consider the aftermath of what it would do to Jessa as a member of her crew and as a member of the Galactic Union. There was so much to balance. Taking a sip of her coffee, she walked over to the group of people that had gathered to supervise the testing of Jessa’s armor in as controlled a situation as possible.
