“Move those tables a couple metres to the right. No, a bit farther… yes, that looks better.” Relann surveyed the Lounge and nodded uncertainly. It would have to do. It wasn’t like they had any experience hosting Klingon weddings or even much time to prepare. But with a few tips from Mardusk and some ingenuity by the crew helping her with the prep, the Lounge was looking somewhat fit for a wedding befitting their impending guests. Extra security measures were in place which made her feel slightly more at ease as she stood there in her dress uniform grateful it was Kelly who was greeting their guests at the moment.Fell-Drayke, XO

“This is the party?” Rinker looked around. “I hope everything is unbreakable, where is the barrel of blood wine, I’d put one right by the door… they are going to want that first anyways…”
Rinker
The door to the lounge opened and in limped Ryley carrying his cane hooked over his arm and holding onto what seemed to be a set of Klingon drums. He appeared rather burdened and wobbled a bit before setting the instruments down with a huff of air from the effort. He stepped back and glanced at the placement then proved them over slightly further with his cane and glanced back at both Rinker and Fell rubbing his beard.
“With fire and steel did the gods forge the Klingon heart. So firecely did it beat, so loud was the sound, that the gods cried out…where the heck are our bloody drums.” He readjusted his shirt and made his way to them. “I assumed you’d be in need of these.”

MD“Cue the back up,” Relann said with a grin, gesturing with her thumb at Ryley.
Following the others in shortly afterwards, Nash looked around the room at the decorations and simply nodded at the others in attendance before moving over to one of the tables for a closer look. He was wearing dress uniform himself, although the tunic was open loosely at the collar and his sleeves had been folded back. A bulge in one pocket betrayed his flip lighter, while the stub of his short cigar protruded, unlit from the corner of his mouth.

“I’m assuming the bloodwine is being supplied by our guests since last I checked we don’t carry stock in the cargo bays and I somehow feel they would disapprove of replicated stuff, so…” Relann shrugged. This was an impromptu wedding for Klingons… on a Federation starship. How much were their guests really expecting anyway?

“There is some Romulan Ale behind the bar marked as blue curacao. Use it sparingly and only for medicinal purposes,” Kelly said coming up behind Rellan. “Don’t ask where I got it. If Rick ever asks if there are blue cosmos in my quarters…deny that too,” she added as if almost an afterthought. As she looked around Kelly wore a curious expression on her face. “You did all of this that fast. I’m impressed.” Kelly was wearing her dress uniform but the not often worn variation of the skirt bottom instead of the pants. Most of her women counterparts never opted for this combination but Kelly rather liked it. It gave her a feeling a being feminine and empowered her more in a way. So many of her women captain friends thought you had to look and act tough to be taken seriously. Kelly learned as Dante’s XO that nothing was more powerful or deeming to a guy than getting your ass kicked by a women in a skirt.
A smile slide across her face as she remembered that first semester with Dante night. They had gotten drunk and decided to spar to see who would control the remote for the holo vid. It did come to a surprise to one Mr. Dante Knight that a girl in a dress could win a fight…being barefoot. The shoe thing with her small heel on the boot proved enough to toss her balance off for a while but with enough practice, Dante had taught her how to adjust her balance and hold her own. So here she was, in a dress and heeled boots showing up at Klingon wedding.
