Despite having served on ships for quite some time since transferring from the Marines, Jacen still wasn’t completely comfortable walking the sterile corridors. Stepping off the turbolift he silently made his way past various collections of his crewmates en route to the COS’s office. After smoothing the front of his uniform jacket, he pressed the door chime and waited to be summoned inside.

“He’s not there, you know.” a voice said from behind him.

Standing at the duty station outside the office was a Bolian woman in the gold uniform of Operations of which Security was a part. Lieutenant Junior Grade pips sat on her collar. “What do you need, Chief?” she asked.
