Anger and Accountability…Cloaked Intelligence Shuttle…When the past doesn’t match the future or the present.

snip“I can do one better than that without fighting. This is not my first rodeo handsome,” Aimee replied. Tapping her comm badge she paced slightly. =/\=Extract the package=/\=. Her command was simple but not sent to anyone on the ship. Just under the port side of the Atlantis a cloaked intelligence ship locked a beam on the only remaining living Elder on the promenade and beamed her off. The bursts of torpedos from the Altantis’ main batteries allowed for enough of a distraction to mask the beam for now. They were hugging the hull so closely, the intell ship was able to beam off the Elder even with the shields raised. Hiding in the sensor blind spot, the ship only had to wait long enough for the Atlantis to drop the shields before they could slip into the void of space. =/\=Teams evacuate to Deck 14=/\= she spoke into the comms before looking at Peter. “We don’t need the kid. We got the female. The child will provide enough of a diversion to have the ship chasing its tail. Shall we,” she gestured to the door. Deck 14 was not the exfil plan but neither was Peter. Silently she grumbled under her breath at being left out of the loop involving the senior intel officer. Her complaints would be far more vocal later but right now he had an escape plan and Aimee was finished with her mission.
Aimee Rian
Peter gave no reaction to the sudden appearance of a cloaked ship, it was certainly a shock but also a relief, it gave more merit to his accidental undercover operation “Good Work” He said, giving her a respectful nod, it had been a good move, although it likely would go wrong, short term gain for long term loss. But of course in the long term there wouldn’t be much of a plan for the S31 people. He took out his phaser and shot the unconscious Aenar once.
Aimee watch Peter and a small smile curled her lips. “Does he own your money or something?”
“Can’t have him wander off, I’ll take him Primrose and whoever remains once we’ve secure exfil and I’ve confirmed the package” He gave the implication that he wasn’t assuming command but that he could if he wanted, he got a sense that Rian felt that he could do so. He didn’t for two reasons, he didn’t have enough information to make that bluff and also he might get pushback. Sometimes it was good to have a reputation for substandard actions within the intelligence community, it gave him leeway to do things like this.
He led the way, making sure to keep a close eye on Rian so he didn’t get blindsided as they made their way to deck 14. “Once we get the whole group together we need to get you off the ship ASAP”

“Agreed” she said keeping pace and following Peter through the halls until she stopped and began swearing loudly before slamming her fist into the bulkhead next to her. Tapping her ear she sent out a coded message. =/\= All personel report to the tertiary location. We have been compromised. =/\=
Looking at Peter, Aimee’s frown deepened. “The mission is blown. I told them not to use the kid. She just called out the XO. The prosthetics are good for a dark room and no idea of Jen’s bearing or voice. If they put Jessa with the XO we are screwed except for the kid is mentally unstable and can’t be trusted. I have to go back for Bix.”
Aimee Rían.
“No time and no need, I can secure his escape at a later date, provided that he follows standard procedure and shuts up, we have our prize and we don’t need to hide our presence anymore,” He said half turning to the woman, if necessary he’d take her out here then proceed to remove the rest but he was still hoping to get on that cloaked craft they had outside the ship.

Aimee tapped her badge. =/\=All teams prepare for extraction.=/\= She was not sure if Peter’s comm badge carried the transponder code for the cloaked shuttle or not to beam him out. Depending on who he was getting his orders from, he may or may not. The scowl deepening on her face showed the irritation she had with the question. Reaching out she pulled him close to her body in a lover’s embrace. The positioning meant the transporter chief would understand to take them both.
Peter tensed at the sudden embrace, he’d seen it coming but it still surprised him. He quickly adjusted his plans. He’d originally planned to meet with the group and take them out on his own home turf, on the Atlantis he would have been able to stop them from transporting to the shuttle then make his way over once the group was out Rook takes Bishop He mused as the transporter field enveloped them.
The lover’s embrace positioning was indicative of two things. The first was to beam out an individual that did not have a signal as in this case. The second was due to injury from being incapacitated. Right now Aimee only wanted off the ship. If Peter was not a part of the mission he would be walking into the lion’s den. If he was part of the mission, they would need his skills managing the alien woman being beamed up also.
===================
On the cloaked shuttle
===================The swirls of light coalesced around Aimee and Peter’s bodies in a bright white blur. Seconds later they were standing on a transporter pad on the ship poised just underneath the belly of the Atlantis in a scanner blind spot.
Aimee broke the embrace and moved immediately off the transporter pad into the belly of the shuttle. There was a two-man crew there with one in the pilot’s seat and one at a console in the back of the shuttle. The space was small but laid out efficiently with a table in the middle of the area. In the area that usually would have been a cabin, a modified containment cell was erected. The space was small and not meant for comfort. It was about 8 feet tall and three feet wide allowing the individual enough space to sit on the floor but devoid of any furnishings. Outside of the cell was a console with a chair.
“The teams on the Atlantis have the alien designated as Rogan. The other male alien’s life signs are dropping. There are medics on the scene but the best choice now is between the female adult or juvenile,” a voice called out from the back of the cabin. “Which one do I pull out with transport?” His hands were poised over the controls ready to engage beaming the second the target was chosen.
=/\=Life is full of tough choices. If you take your hands off him you will kill him. How bad do you want this,” she held up the satchel. “Is it worth a life?=/\= Zala Tsu’s conversation in the promenade was playing on the ship’s speakers confirming what the officer had reported to Aimee and Peter.
Looking at Peter, Aimee shrugged. “Interrogation is less morally objectionable with adults.” The sentence was both a comment and a question. “Engage,” she said.
Aimee
“Won’t get any useful intel from the child” Peter answered with an equally nonchalant tone as he’d maintained til now. The shuttle’s crew was awkwardly placed for him to deal with, with only one phaser and Aimee he might not be able to disable all three without them potentially disabling the shuttle’s systems. “We certain this cell can contain them properly?” he asked.
