Lieutenant Eliza Bailey sighed deeply at the records before her and then glanced again at the schedule she had drawn up. She made a few adjustments and then organised each one into individual PaDDs for the medical staff. Finished with this task she then began composing the ship wide memo informing the crew of the dreaded annual physical exam.

=^= Attention all hands,=^= her memo began. =^= It is now time for the annual physical exams to be conducted starting at 0900 hours tomorrow morning. Each exam should last no longer than 30 mins. Senior staff, and department heads please ensure your officers report at the assigned times for your department to ensure as little disruption as possible. =^=

She then signed Ryley’s name at the bottom and sent the message. She then crossed her arms and sat back, waiting. It took only 3 minutes before she heard Ryley’s voice from inside his office.

“What the h…BAILEY!”

She smirked to herself and setting a determined look on her face went into the office to stop him cancelling it.

Ash looked up as she heard Ryley yell at Bailey and she smiled inwardly, she could only imagine what Ryley had to say about Bailey’s message. She looked over the schedule that Bailey had set up and began making preparations for the sudden influx of patients. She began uploading data to several PaDDs.

Summers (med)

Not long after the message went out, the doors to Sickbay opened and the Orion Security Chief entered and looked around. “You all have time for a drop in? I want to knock my physical out before I start sending my people in.” and he looked at a passing NE and said “I can hold it over their heads, that way. Keeps ‘em on their toes.” with a smile.

Mardusk, CoS

The NE smiled. “I bet it does sir.” She replied and continued on her way. A very grumpy looking Ryley limped from his office followed by Bailey. He waved a hand at the CoS and said “see there now youve got them flocking enmasse.”

She rolled her eyes. “One department head is hardly en masse Ryley. Off you go now while Summers and I orgaise the rest of sickbay.” She made a shooing motion and Ryley, grumbling to himself walked off. As he passed Mardusk he stated “come on.” And led the way to the corner biobed he preferred to nap on. He was becoming henpecked in his old age.
