USS Atlantis
Main Sim - Bridge
Ryley listened his head tilting slightly as he considered the dangers of what they were suggesting.

: : : : : : : : : Hearing her officers talk Kelly made a decision. =/\=Mardusk coordinate with Summervale and prepare an away team=/\= Kelly ordered into her comm badge. Turing back to her her XO and Summers Kelly spoke. “Summers, if you can sense something going on down there I want you on the away team if you can handle it. XO you have the conn while we are gone. Nash you are her second until I return. Ryley we are probably going to need you or someone from your department with more cortical inhibitors. Have them meet us in the transporter room,” Kelly ordered.

: : : :
: : : : “I don’t do away teams.” Ryley responded automatically as he considered the tricorder readings. “It’d be a good idea for anyone on the telepathic spectrum across the ship to be fitted with one for now and definitely anyone on the away team. You should take some with you should you need to inhibit someone else and I’d recommend taking the shrink and maybe LT Bailey with Summers since she’s itching to go.”
: : : :
: : : “Agreed,” she nodded at her CMO.
: : :
: : : Captain Kelly Shultz
: : : : : : : :
: : : : : “Yes, Captain,” Relann replied.
: : : : :
: : : : : : : : =/\= Aye, aye Captain. On it. =/\= came the low rumble of the Security Chief’s voice. He then tapped his own combadge. =/\= Mardusk to Summervale. Away team preparations commencing. Request Marine presence by order of the Captain. Rendezvous Transporter room 3 in five minutes. Please acknowledge. =/\= he said as he sent word to Gallagher and the designated Security Away Team on duty to prep for operations.

: : : : : : : : Mardusk, CoS
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : The response from the Commander of the Marine Detachment was quick and efficient. =^=Understood, Five, Last one there cleans the gear=^= Came the southern tinged voice of Major Memphis Summervale.
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : Major Memphis Summervale, MaCO
: : : : : :
: : : : : : Ashlynn nodded at the Captain “Yes Ma’am. I’ll be in the transporter room as soon as possible.” She turned and left the Bridge before Ryley could say anything to her. She felt that she was out of touch with everything around her. She stepped onto the lift and headed to Sickbay to grab a med kit.

: : : : : Relann was actually glad Kelly was insisting on going on down with the away team. She still didn’t like the idea of it on principal, but under the circumstances, it was just practical. Relann was better off on the ship since she didn’t know how being close to whatever it was down there would affect her.
: : : : :
: : : : : Having gained a bit of calmness in her mind again, the Dy’allan carefully rose to her feet and could feel that she was better than before. She knew Ryley would probably hover or at least be constantly monitoring her inhibitors readings from Sickbay, but this tie she was grateful for it. And yet, it was still a bit too close to what she had gone through before and that was mildly terrifying. At least this was distinctly temporary.

: : : : Ryley for his part sent orders to sickbay for the required inhibitors to be placed on any crew member who fit the bill and for Bailey to meet him in the transporter room to do the same for the away team.

: : : : Ryley

: : After Kelly left, Relann moved to the command seat and sat down. “Commander Nash, let’s keep an eye on our surrounding so that nothing tries to sneak up on us.”
: :
: : =/\=Fell to Lieutenant Wells. Report immediately to the bridge. Tie in your sensor readings to the station up here if you need to. Bridge out.=/\=
: :
: : Fell-Drayke, XO
:
: Bump
=/\= Understood. Wells out. =/\= came the reply.
A few minutes later Tyler exited the turbo lift and gave Relann a nod as he made his way over to the main science station. He called up the sensor readings he had been monitoring in Stellar Cartography.
He ran another full sensor sweep of the planet and the surrounding area, trying to chart any major differences.

“Alright everyone, let’s keep an eye on the away team. Let me know as soon as they have beamed down,” Relann called out, leaning forward slightly in the chair. She hated the feeling of being neurally inhibited but also knew that it was better than the alternative where she couldn’t function.
