Jason just graduated from the academy and is on his way to the Atlantis with a shuttle,arriving at the ship he docks the shuttle and grabs his bag.
Jason gets out of the shuttle and sees someone in the shuttlebay.

A voice would sound from just behind the new Ensign, gruff and gravelly and sounding like something was stuck between the speakers teeth.

“What you lookin at kid? Or more likely, who? It wouldn’t be that Orion lady checking the cargo or that Vulcan lass doing boarding checks would it?” If Jason was to turn to look at the speaker, he would see a serious faced Lieutenant Commander wearing Engineering colours, with the un-lit stub of a cigar sticking out the corner of his mouth.

That Lieutenant Commander was at present craning his neck slightly to see what the new arrival was looking at.

Jason looks at the Lieutennant Commander and sees his rank. ‘Nothing sir i just arrived, i am Ensign Jason Maxwell nice to meet you.’ Jason extends his arm towards the Lieutennant Commander for a hand shake

“No need to scare this one away, Commander.” Lieutenant Commander Trainor said as he approached the pair. Tenzing had begun to think the chief Engineer’s cigars were going bad, the way he carried himself. The new Ensign would notice that Trainor appeared to be quite young, in fact younger than he himself looked. Producing a PaDD from his back pocket, the Operations Chief scrolled through until he found what he was looking for.

“Ensign Jason Maxwell, Science Division?” The Lieutenant Commander asked, hoping he found the correct officer.
