Hello Atlanteans,

I hope you have had the best and most relaxing Holiday. Posting limits are back in effect as of today Monday 1/3 but if you are able to get back up to speed by Friday 1/7 it would really be appreciated. I have taken the liberty of bumping all the threads so that they are easy to find and reply to. I have also included several links here with a summary about what is going on to catch everyone up if they need it.

A ship carrying at least one crew member who identified himself as “Wayne ‘The Rock’ Gretzky” and is known by the local inhabitants of the region as the ‘Great One’ was also traveling in the ellipse and ‘rescued’ the Atlantis by pulling her from the ellipse before it traveled even further from the Federation. He claimed he was going to try to find a way to turn it around so the Atlantis could use it as a means of getting home. Since then there has been no contact from the Great One, but its has been only 4 days. That being said, the Atlantis might have to make friends. The damage was extreme from the ellipse… including hull, electronic, warp, and other systems. One power conduit burned a vertical hole through four decks of the ship.

The crew met a group of pirates and went back to their base and repaired the Atlantis. After the repairs, the Atlantis encountered a threat we are calling the Darkness. It resembles an octopus and has more than enough firepower to destroy the Atlantis however the Atlantis is able to outrun it as of now. The Atlantis called for help and were contacted by a race called the Endorians. A summary of all the races are on the MOTD if you have questions.

The Atlantis is on route now to meet up with the Endorian ship AT Base five.

If I missed anything or presented it wrong please jump in Luke and everyone listen to his corrections. Please join the Sim and remember, always post to the main sim first when possible. Luke spends a lot of time as a GM and his story is amazing. If you need further help or ideas on how to get involved with the main sim, please reach out to Luke, Gene, or myself for ideas.

I made a slight correction to how the main sim is progressing. Please read it so everyone is on the same page. Sometimes my fingers type faster than my brain and not everything is as clear on paper as it is in my head lol. I hope this makes more sense. When the past doesn’t match the future…or the present side sim. So this is a side sim that I started a few months back. Anyone that is interested in participating let me know. I am trying to use the parts to move the story along to do character development for anyone that wants it.

Summary of the side sim: Four days ago a ship appeared off the bow of the Atlantis asking for Captain Ian Bordeaux. When the alien visitors were beamed over they attacked Kelly and sent her to sick bay with severe injuries. The four-person crew that was beamed over contained two males, one female, and one juvenile girl, Jessa, that was also injured in the attack on the Atlantis crew. It was later determined the girl is a biological match to Ian Bordeaux. The crew does not know why the alien ship showed up except that they had sent a transmission saying they had a package for Ian Bordeaux.

Admiral Primrose has been sent by Starfleet command to evaluate the situation. He is under the direct command of Admiral Reginald Perkins and they are working on some agenda that may not be strictly public. They had a closed-door meeting about removing any and all of the visitors to a private location run by Starfleet Intelligence however no one on the Atlantis knows this agenda. The crew of the Atlantis is waiting for orders from Starfleet about what to do regarding the situation.

The timeline of the story is a wiggly line. I am writing the threads as happening simultaneously. Think of it like the old show 24 where multiple things are happening at once. To keep everyone on the same page I will periodically start a thread called Command conference room and ALL threads of the side sim start with the tag When the past doesn’t match the present …or the future. This will key anyone into that the thread is about the Alien side sim.

Below is the first summary of events. As you can see…no one likes Perkins or Primrose. I am going to start a new Command Conference Thread soon to tie up events that occurred over the past month. If you are interested in participating or have questions let me know.
