Linkin then turned his attention to the patient now that the detailed scann of his head and neck were completed. “Sir this man has some sort of tumor in his head. And according to these scans the tumor has infiltrated nearly every part of his brain.” He then compared the tumor to the cells he had extracted. “I would say that this tumor is the cause of the anomalous readings.”

“Ryley What are your thoughts?”

Ryley for his part tilted his head and considered the readings. He moved past the other medical staff and used the computer to attempt to project a 3d rendering of the scan results to get a better look.

“I think sleeping beauty is going to be harder to wake than i thought. Anyone want to see if one of the marines fancies giving him a kiss?”

He waited to see if the 3d image gave a better understanding of this new information.

Linkin was scratching the top of his head as if that wold help him come up with an idea of waking the unconscious man. “If a standard hypo won’t work then what if we include a electrical stimulant. Maybe that will wake the cells enough to get him at least talking to us.”

Ryley shook his head as he waited to see the 3D rendering. “I’m not sure we should try yet. Need more data.”

He gritted his teeth slightly =^= Not yet. He seems to be in good shape despite what his clothing would indicate. There’s an issue. Detailed scans of his head have revealed a sort of tumour. I’m trying to work out if we can remove it before we attempt to bring him around you’ll need to wait skipper. =^=

Linkin didn’t wait for Ryley, he put the cortical stimulator on the mans forehead set it to produce a low current of electrical stimulation. He then took his new tricorder and then set the frequency of the stimulator to the mans bio electric frequency.

“I’m all ready here Ryley, you have to hypo do we try to wake him?”

Ryley glowered at Linkin. “NO!” He yelled crossly. “No We don’t till we get the full picture you moron!” He growled but it was too late now the kid had followed his instinct and basic medical training.

The empath was focused on the patient and any sort of possible glimmer of consciousness that she could sense. “If needed I can always attempt a Link. Not that it would be advisable, but when controlled and I’m not surprised by them, they are safe,” Relann said softly. It wasn’t exactly ideal, but she’d never attempted it with anyone who was unconscious and couldn’t even say if it was possible. At least on her side of things it was no longer dangerous.

Ashlynn had listened to the discourse and approached teh bed to scan the EV suit “Maybe there is some sort of regenerative field in the suit as well as the odd blood readings.” She suggested “The tumor or whatever it is could be of concern, however is it actually a tumor or an implant of some sort.”

“Trying to work it out.” Ryley agreed turning his attention to the scan again.

Ashlynn began pulling up various tumors and possibilities that could lead to this. She knew from experience that tumors could have many causes and could cause a variety of problems, however if it was something of an implant, it might cause other issues and may be some sort of a weapon....she would wait until she had more information.
