As Janna came to, she would find herself alone. In a room, white plastered walls. The walls just seemed to glow softly, as if they were their own light source. There was no sounds, no smells, No furniture. The floor where she lay, was cold, metallic, but seemed to have it’s own white glow.

There was a calm, stillness in the air. Any sounds made seemed to be absorbed into nothingness.

The darkness shifted and when Janna became aware of her new surroundings, she looked around. Her heart sank. She sat up, her hands taking in the hard cold floor. Why was everything so bright in here?

“Hello?” she called out, and listened as the expected echo did not sound. Bizarre.

Carefully Janna got to her feet, reminding herself to stay calm, despite the fact that she was mildly terrified.

Her voice seemed to just die. It was so quiet in the room that she could almost hear the sound of her own blood pumping through her veins. The light coming from the walls wasn’t that bright, more like a soft glowstick, almost soothing in nature. All the walls and the floor looked the same, it was a little disorienting.

Janna turned very slowly, trying to see if there was any perceivable difference in the light. Anything at all that could tell her where she was. It was creepy that her voice didn’t echo since it made it hard to gauge anything spatially. “Hey! Let me out of here! I don’t want to be here!” she shouted as she moved carefully forward, knowing it was probably pointless but also knowing that at this point she needed more information.
