Without opening his eyes he tapped his combadge to answer =^=He’s received no medication, I gave him a few jolts with the Neural but no medication, the procedure is simple, just trust yer instincts and remember your training, I can be there in seconds if neccecary=^= He closed the channel and let out a sigh of relief “Good officer that Lemann, even better doctor.”

Dr. Grey - CMO

“Thank goodness for that,” Liam stated, chuckling softly. His body lowered to the ground as he leaned against the console, closing his eyes a bit. The stillness etched into his figure causing the parasite to shift.

“I think after this mission, I’ll take a single dose of radiation and sleep a whole night. After I check on Joseph and make sure he’s all right.” The CSO scratched the back of his neck before he looked at Dr. Grey.

“You didn’t spot him in the sickbay, did you?” He held his breath waiting for the answer.

Ben looked up, finally opening his eyes “No I didn’t, but it’s been chaos, Sickbay one was mostly sent to three, I haven’t been able to check on Sickbay two since before the computer tried to kill my patients.” He pulled himself up “Why don’t we go to Sickbay, I’ll check the system see if he’s been treated anywhere” He forced a half-smile and gave the Scientist a friendly pat on his shoulder.

Jessica’s normally melodic voice had taken a slightly flat tone as she walked Grey through her steps.

Ben looked up for a moment, as one would when searching for where the voice came from. He knew the procedure well enough and knew that she did as well, this sort of vocalization was unnecessary outside of teaching, he also made a note of her tone of voice, even under stress she never lost her usual tone. =^=Copy that=^= Was all he said, after this was over he’d have a chat with her.

“I appreciate that. Then I’ll invite you for a thank-you drink. I’m starting to wonder if this is going to be a common thing on the Athena. I hope not.” Liam wondered as he felt the pat. He opened his eyes to take note of the source and smiled, enjoying the small gesture of comfort.

When he heard the Junior Doctor relay her procedure over the comlink, Liam shook his head. “If I didn’t know better, I would’ve said she was lonely. Joseph does the something similar when things aren’t crazy. Do you we should consider heading to the sickbay?”

He wasn’t sure if leaving his post would’ve been wise, but he hoped the biggest threat had passed. It would also ease his worry over his nephew.
