IC: The holodeck doors opened as soon as Dawson had disappeared. And there, the man slowly stepping in with absolute precision, was Orvos. A look of anger was across his features.

“What are you two doing in this program?” He asked, articulating every word with crystal clarity.

Stark knew better than to try and explain when Orvos had that look in his eye. “We were about to ask you the same question!”

Marishka wouldn’t speak to Orvos at this moment, her words first had to make sense to herself but her fire and ice gaze demanded answers. Someone was not getting out of that room without giving them to her.

Orvos stepped forward and opened his palm. Hidden within was a powdery substance. “This is what is left of the chip that this program was on. Shredded to tiny bits on the floor outside the holodeck. And neither of you saw anyone?” His questions were no longer accusatory, but to say he wasn’t mad would have been a lie.

The only chip the El Aurian program was on was now in a state impossible to repair. The program was now in the Athena computer, and would remain so until he found an appropriate replacement for the advanced chip.

Marishka watched Orvos intently. She had never seen him quite like this before. She was still angry and frustrated with the whole situation but, perhaps he was too.

“Define anyone.” she said.
