So… I should have done this a couple days ago, but I snapped a ligament in my hand on Monday. Yes, it hurts as much as it sounds it might. It’ healing pretty fast, but it’s been variable. There are a lot of fine motor control things I can’t do at all right now (squeezing my hand over anything), or are time limited (like typing). I am hoping to do a bit of posting tomorrow, but I will be picking only the most necessary threads at first and coming back to everything else. I’m going to spread it out so I don’t overdo anything. But I might find myself unable to post here and there, and because I can’t predict it, I’m declaring a LOA to cover my basis. I will be reachable, but might be slow. This includes emails.

Nassssty! Praying for quick heals for you, ouch! If necessary I’ll go to DefCon 2 and give some executive orders to move us along.

I’m more or less functional, though now my ring finger has been hurting. Just can’t win! However, it’s all much better than it was and so long as I am mindful and go easy on my hand, I’ll be fine. I’ve pulled myself off LOA and will be trying to balance my posting schedule with the start of NaNo. 50,000 words of a new novel here I go!
