Having ostensibly completed her psychological evaluation, Jessica eagerly made her way to Sickbay, excited to both meet her new department head and finally be fully at her new station. She bounded through the Sickbay doors as soon as they opened and then stopped, enjoying a moment of surveying the slight bustle around her before nudging a nearby nurse.

“Can you tell me where to find Dr. Grey?”

The nurse pointed the young woman towards an enclosed office “He’ll be in there” He said looking at the room, the privacy setting activated. Neither person could see through the tinted window “He shouldn’t be busy so just hit the chime” He explained.

Jessica smiled her thanks to the nurse. “Thank you so much,” she responded. As she began to make her way to the privacy-shielded office, she called back over her shoulder. “I’m Dr. Lemann, I’m looking forward to working with you.”

At the sound of the chime, a soft Scottish accent sounded through the door “Enter.”

As the door slid open, Jessica squared her shoulders slightly and then stepped through. “Hello, I’m Dr. Lemann, I was just transferred to the Athena,” she said, her face bright with a cheerful grin. “I’m so excited to be here and to be working with you.” On the shorter side, her entire body vibrated with excitement as she reported in. Her long blonde hair was secured in a braid down her back and intense green eyes met Grey’s as her hand reached out to shake his in the typical human manner.
