“Claws is telling me we should exit the bridge through the door,” Stark said eyes intent and brow furrowed, “Hopefully we’re on the trail to find Janna, I don’t like the fact she’s out there on her own in this place where dreams can become reality.”

Orvos opened his eyes. “Very well,” he stated as he fell back in line with them.

As they started to go through the door, Orvos spoke. “The Nexus is a big jumble of all sorts of things. Pain, joy, fear. I have a feeling we have a path to choose soon. Battle and death. Peace. And revelry.” He kept his eyes forward, curious as to what lay beyond the door.

When the door opened it appeared to be another corridor on the ship, but as soon as the door closed the whole scene shifted. The corridor became, dark, warm and humid. A mist seemed to hang in the air, limiting visibility. A steel railing appeared on their left side. Behind them, the door to the bridge vanished, the corridor seemed to extend backwards, disappearing into the mist.

Claws froze, stunned buy the sudden change of scenery. He suddenly seemed lost, confused.

“It’s the Nexus,” Orvos said aloud. “And this feels like a borg ship. We need to be ready for anything. Weapons check? If they even work. We need to keep moving either way. If we encounter any borg, perhaps they will not consider us a threat. Then again, the rules are never as they should be here.”
