No one moved when Stark yelled. They all seemed frozen. Whether it was from fear or something else, it was hard to tell. Suddenly, the wolf growled and bolted to the right of the group, towards a nearby store. The Panther followed quickly, running fast, between Stark and Janna behind his feline companion.

“Gotcha,” The archer said excitedly, the flame on his arrow suddenly brightened. He moved to follow his animal friends.

There was no time to tell the others what he had discovered, no time in fact to take umbrage over being called a “walking cat”. Stark followed the man swiftly realising that whatever was happening was momentarily beyond his control and ability to manipulate.

Orvos followed close. He also looked over the people he passed, curious if his mind would pick up any shifts in the space/time continuum around him.

Orvos didn’t have much time to think it all through as the others moved rather quickly. He kept in relatively close proximity to Janna as he followed, curious as to who the man had found.

Janna was strangely drawn to the insanity going on and while it might be just because it made a good case study, there was more to it. But damned if she knew what it was exactly. Maybe it was that slight thrill of adrenaline that danger brought, or maybe it was that the man had connected her to a situation she had never really given much thought of. Romance was not something she got to indulge in, if one could call it an indulgence. Maybe it was for her? All she knew was that she needed to udnerstand what was happening and how it was going to end.

All three seemed to be running towards a near by shop. Standing in the front entrance of the shop, wearing dark sweater with a hood stood a single man. Orvos would recognize him as Kivon. He was smiling, unafraid. The wolf and panther approached fast. The Archer drew his Bow.

“Where is my wife!” He screamed, he drew his bow, bright red flames emanated from the arrow. The Wolf and Panther flanked Kivon, ready for the command to strike. Kivon waved his hand.

Suddenly, everything seemed to stop. The flames on the arrow were no longer moving, seemly frozen, saliva from the wolf’s growling hung in mid air, as if from a string. Everyone stopped. The archer, the animals, the group, everything, stopped in that moment, unable to move. However, they all still retained the power of thought and speech.

“Now, Now My friend, we had a deal. I told you that if you killed the people on this station, and these people here, you could have your wife back. You didn’t fulfill your end of the bargain, did you.” Kivon said to the archer, wagging his finger disapprovingly.
