“Oh I think he is too tough to die yet” Horace stated, he was trying to comfort a doctor that wanted save the wounded crewmate. The situation was just to tense to allow her to step out there and get her self evaporated, or whatever the stick did. Starks eyes were following it, what was that old cat looking at? The scream, Horace was old school, that wasn’t pain, that was despair....What did stark see coming? “Stinker come back” Horace said as soon as he realized his mistake.

Horace Harkness, MCPO

The tug on the collar stopped Nico did not hesitate, he was off Horaces shoulder in less than an eye blink. Likely expected that he would charge the man with the wand, Nico couldn’t Nightskin was here, Korn-rows, and Heart of Gold, Times Lost Friend, Sunset Protector, Secret Keeper, the whole tribe was here. Nico could not save one and risk others. It was to Nightskin his feet carried him, Circling her feet, hissing. Teeth barred claws curling wickedly in and out.

Shadowbrother, Laughing Leaf hears you, Crazy eyes, Worse than tribesbane Nico sent to Stark as he connected his little scared kitty mind. The image Nico sent might have been comical to some. But not likely to Shadowbrother, it was of Nico dressed in a starfleet uniform with Commander’s pips addressing a Young Captain that looked a blend of the Nightskin and Korn-rows. Who adressed Nico as Commander Nightstalker. Never Alone, Never Forgotten The images would have tickled at the back of the Captains mind like unseen in her focus but recalled later perhaps.

Nico the Treecat

Michail planted himself in the middle of what was rapidly becoming a semi-circle of very intent looking “Athenaites”. His dark Greek eyes flashed. Turning briefly to the Captain he whispered “Your trust is appreciated”.

Koraia looked at Michail with a deep gaze and gave a slight nod. He didn’t need to hear he say it, but she certainly thought, It’s what Kallen would have wanted and insisted upon. Perhaps it was a debt paid that she felt she had owed the fallen officer, despite the fact that the man who had killed her had escaped justice, but regardless, she had accepted this version of Michail into the fold back on the holodeck. Now he simply had confirmation of her approval.

He turned then to the man before him and put onto his face a sneer of contempt. “I know your plan Pierce, it’s about as ill-conceived as your outfit and that ridiculous hairpiece you’ve been sporting since your “unfortunate accident” on the last mission”.

Michail (DTI)

Pierce’s eyes nearly popped out of his head as surprise, anger and viciousness played across his visage. Then his eyes popped even wider as a purple cat leapt up into Michail’s waiting arms and licked him full in the face settling down comfortably into the Greek man’s self assured embrace.

Pierce started to gibber. “It’s not possible, you can’t be Aegis, you can’t…”. Wilder and wilder the servo flew as Pierce’s face registered new emotions, uncertainty and panic.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist (GMT)

Stark felt the brush of Nico’s mind and began to formulate a way to make the threat known to him. His mind was distracted as he heard Michail’s voice. He knew Michail well but the voice he was hearing now had changed, deepened somehow. It wasn’t the Michail he knew to stir up a dangerous man like this. What was he playing at?

Stark looked up into the heavens again and formulated the swirling wreckage above in his minds-eye. “Danger” he projected with all he had.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Konral had found himself stumbling, leading his team from his pod to where everyone was. Looking around he tried to gather his bearings. Seeing Stark, Ghubari, and all the others seemed to make himself feel at ease. He felt like this at ease feeling wouldn’t last for long.

Vander, CoS

A comm channel on the crews combadges opened up. =^=Chief Medical Office Grey to all Crewmembers, We’ve set up a Triage Station at my Location, if you are too injured to move let us know, we’ll send a Medical team to your location.=^= The Calm and collected voice of the Scottish CMO informed everyone and the channel closed as soon as it opened.

Dr Grey - CMO

Bennett, who had arrived with the Captain approached the CMO. “My group is ok, I arrived with the Captain. Do want some help setting up your equipment, Sir?” He asked, He wasn’t sure what was going on, but he knew he needed to help out.

-Jay

OOC: The CMO is in the other thread. I’ll paste your post there Christopher, as I’m sure they could use help there. :)

Nico did not fully understand the images, yes the city in space had turned into a fire flower, it had been sad, but Nico thought it was pretty, and that the city had said goodbye well as it went to protect its tribe one last time. Nico understood Danger, Shadowbrother said Danger. Up was Danger. Nico craned his head towards the sky and saw the swirling wreckages, the pieces the parts the SKY WAS FALLING! Nightskin was in a mental duel with Stupid Hat, Shadowbrother was down, So Nico reached out to Korn-Rows, Time’s Lost friend, Golden Healer, Tree Keeper, Sunset Protect, Heart of Gold, Secret Keeper and the others to tell them, Even Doctor Jack the Stupidhead that the sky was coming for them in streaks of fire. Stupid Hat meant to kill them all. It was hardest Nico had ever pushed an image to people. “Bleeeeek!” was the only noise he actually made.

Nico the Treecat

Adam stepped slightly back as the Captain approached. Pierce could only watch so many things at one time. The wand seemed to be the key. How that could be removed from the equation Adam wondered. Adam ran a list of possibilities as quickly as possible, including bodily throwing another crewmember, and had yet to settle one on specific action as of yet.

Commander Adam Chryst, Executive Officer USS Athena NCC 17819-E

Ghubari was aware of the emotions going on around her, and from Nico, whom she was bonded with in a very particular way, but the treecat was right, she was focused on Pierce, because she knew the endgame that others around her did not. There were reasons for that, but what her crew didn’t know what she already knew that was going to happen. hence, the calmness. It didn’t mean it wasn’t dire, and it didn’t mean things couldn’t go wrong, but she knew she needed to play her hand precisely or else it was all for naught. And the one thing no one could ever accuse her of was being careless with the lives of her crew. “You’ve miscalculated, Pierce, and you know it,” Ghubari said simply, though her tone was certainly challenging. “You think you have everything under your control, but you don’t. You’ve also highly underestimated my crew and I, and I’m afraid that usually results in less than ideal result s for you.”

Fl. Captain Koraia, CO

Michail was chuckling next to the Captain which seemed to infuriate Pierce no end, it seemed the Counter Strike agent was not immune to being ridiculed. Pierce’s face contorted in rage and he spoke one word at the top of his voice the veins on his head almost exploding with the effort.

“DIE!”

There were moments where time seemed to no longer be relevant and this one seemed to exemplify this idea. Ghubari didn’t look up- she had accepted her fate and she if she were going to die in this moment then she would face it head on.

The servo came down in a sweeping gesture and the debris above shot towards the surface in a rain of death. Michail looked up in expectation. Foremost of the pieces falling was a very familiar object to some of the people on the ground. It wasn’t metal… it was rock.

Not only that, it wasn’t responding to the motions of the servo. Michail was laughing hard now and the cat in his arms leapt to the ground in anticipation of what came next.

The rock descended like an avenging angel. Pierce’s face contorted in terror as he saw his fate too late. “Nooooooooo” he screamed as with a huge crunch he became the centre of an impact crater with a strangely intact rock at it’s centre. The purple cat flashed off through the settling dust cloud and returned with the servo in it’s jaws which had been thrown clear in the explosion. Morphing quickly the cat turned into a hauntingly beautiful woman with purple hair who quickly used the servo to deflect the debris falling through the atmosphere sending most of the pieces away to the east.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist (GMT)

Okay, that wasn’t at all what Ghubari expected and she jolted slightly as Pierce was crushed. Well then.

Michail deftly reached down and removed the portable shield unit from the rocks surface. T’Pon arrived and rushed towards the rock with some kind of black goo which she started to slather liberally over the steaming surface of the rock.

With a grand flourish Michail swept his hand towards the rock. “Please everyone, I’d like you to meet the real hero of the day. Deep Cover Aegis Agent Rxzyth” he added in a grand gesture towards the purple haired beauty “and her companion Meridyth”. Michail added in way of explanation, “In case you’re wondering, this ain’t no ordinary rock, Rxzyth is a Horta, a silicon based intelligence thought to be extinct but snatched throughout time by the Aegis for missions just like this one”. Michail was still chuckling, ‘I love it when a plan comes together” he said still smiling broadly.

The his gaze turned from the Guardian to the Captain and back again and his smile faded a little. “However, this is not the final, final showdown, there is still work to be done”.

Michail

“Indeed,” Ghubari said with almost a hint of amusement. “I’d really like my ship back you know.” She turned her head to Meridyth and bowed her head. “Thank you.”

Karina had settled those in the out and helped a couple other on her way to the main mass of crewmen around the madman. While she had missed the brunt of the exchange, she arrived in time to hear the order of death screamed and to feel the blast of dust from the fallen rock.

Stepping to the front of the group, Karina looked around as a man stepped forward to speak of the ‘real hero’.

A hand rose to touch the dried and smeared blood on her temple as she tried to take a mental inventory of those she’d meet in the short time since her arrival. She saw the Captain, whom she still hasn’t had a chance to check in with, and the counselor, whom she was glad was all right. One or two others were there as well. But it occurred to her that in the short time she’d been on board, there were still so many she didn’t know.

Without thinking, she quietly moved they the group to stand by the counselor so she at least didn’t feel alone. Even if the woman was oblivious to her proximity just behind her.

When the debris appeared to come hurtling toward the surface, Liam’s eyes snapped up. They widened at the obvious threat baring down them as the CSO braced himself. His arms rushed upward to shield his head. While his cranium was stronger than most, he doubted it could withstand a full-blown ship hull crashing down on top of him.

In the background, his ears caught the screams of Peirce dying when a rock impacted onto him. When the expected pain from gravity pulled debris didn’t occur, Liam’s right eye opened cautiously to understand why. Through the clearing dust, figures became distinguishable once more. Including the addition of the woman holding the servo.

His vision caught T’Pon darting past his peripheral vision then smear something on the rock deep in the newly formed crater. Michail’s words promptly pulled his attention to the captain, the guardian, and the time traveler’s location. His lips pressed tightly together, but never a word escaped them.

Without a word, Liam’s figure turned to head to the Triage Station. Before he could depart the scene completely, blood on Ms. Niles’ head causing him to pause and place a hand onto her shoulder. His eyes studied the wound briefly.

“You should take this moment to make sure you’re alright before tending to others. It wouldn’t be fitting if you weren’t at your best to heal someone,” his voice was calm and eerily steady. Slowly he removed his hand from the doctor’s shoulder then continued to walk away.

Kaylee had remained towards the back of the group of her crew, observing and slightly in disbelief. She slowly made her way closer to the (cat) woman she had befriended in the escape pod. She gave the woman a bow of the head in gratitude but despite her deep curiosity she did not ask any of the many questions running through her brain. For now she surveyed the crew, her friends and family. And waited for what would come next.

-Kaylee Baxter

Meridyth smiled in return. When she spoke her voice had an other than human quality, a sort of contralto harmony overtone that in some ways was similar to Laraan’s but in other ways was very different.

“I apologise for the deception, it was important for Pierce to think that Michail was the agent on board and that I was helping him. Deep cover agents like Rxzyth are very precious and in this case highly useful.” She tossed her purple hair to the side, “It’s an honour for me to be working with her”.

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist (GMT)

“I can well imagine, Koraia said.”

There was a slight cough from the other side of the Rxzyth and a slightly aggravated voice spoke up. “Nice to meet you Meridyth… don’t suppose you know how to use that shiny “screwdrivery” thing to remove the neural block on me? I seem to have found my voice now, but my legs and arms won’t obey my instructions”.

Stark Nightstalker CIO

Casting her glance sideways towards her chosen brother, Ghubari moved over and crouched down. “I am so going to remember this,” she teased, patting Stark on the shoulder with fondness.

Looking over at Michail, the captain returned to her more serious and calm demeanour. “I want my ship back and we have to get off this place and out of this time. I presume you’re prepared to guide this part of the fun?”

Fl. Captain Koraia, CO

Much had happened quickly after Orvos arrived on the scene. But typical to his people he took a background stance, allowing the captain and others a chance to speak, to turn the tide before he decided to make his own move.

However, much to his surprise, Price was doomed. To say that he found the entire event fascinating was an understatement. The crew had been tricked into sneaking agents of time all about. Some he knew, most not so much. Though the lady…or cat.. no…catwoman…yes. She had caught Orvos interest. She was unique, unlike anyone he had ever met.

And the rock they had brought aboard from Dulmur and Lucsly? Why had that being glowed for him back at the starbase, but not for anyone else?

He watched as everything unfolded, curious as to the captains next move.

Orvos stepped forward to greet them, a look of awe and curiosity about his features. He gestured to the Guardian of Forever. “What is going on?”

-Lt. Orvos Legen, CE

Konral wondered what the cat had been up to, but he had no clue it was something like this. He scratched his head as he wondered how he could have missed all the signs. “I…” Konral began to speak but said nothing. He just nodded, now wasn’t the time to get trapped in questions, and quandaries. “I think next time you need to just follow better when trying to flee.” Konral finally said, as he flattened his lips as he looked at her.

Vander, CoS

Adam moved forward as well, the time had allowed that to happen. Yet there was more to come he could tell that. This was far from over. Stark had survived that was good, he liked his apprentice. The issues that they still had to resolve we still needing to be resolved, and they had no starship yet. Yet through all of that Adam found himself drawn to the edge of the portal staring at the surface of the Guardian. He could go anywhere to anytime, and do anything. Immediately he decided this was likely something he should never allow himself the chance to do. The Captain would need someone to remain here and in charge, that was likely the smartest role for the android. Not gallivanting through time hunting both Aegis, and the other organization like some implacable terminator.

Commander Adam Chryst, Executive Officer, USS Athena NCC 17819-??

Spppppploooooch…..Nico actually chuffed a laugh and something that might have been a victory BLEEEK! At the smooshing of Pierce. Good Riddance to bad rubbish. With a flirt of his tail and happy bound he moved to check on Shadowbrother with Nightskin in tow. Okay she got there first, but it had been Nico’s idea. Nico Casually head-butted Shadowbrother, WE did it, crazy eyes stupid hat all Flat
