Conner looked thoughtful for a few moments as if he had many ideas of how to answer this but wasn’t sure exactly how to articulate it. “ I don’t know sir.” He eventually said. Rather anticlimactic. “That’s the thing, there’s so much that I don’t know yet and that’s what I’m looking for I guess. A chance to find out new things, highlight the things I don’t know and then learn from them.” He looked at Grey, unsure if this response was what the older doctor wanted but it was as close to the truth as he would say,

After a moment of thoughtful silence Benjamin nodded in acknowledgement “Alright, that’s all from me for now, did you have any questions?I have some time to answer any you might have”

Conner nodded as if accepting the acknowledgment. “No sir, I am ready to start my duties as soon as I have clearance.” He said as he got down from the biobed and waited to be given his first orders, straight backed staring ahead like all good cadets were trained , before the bad habits and experience changed things.
