The Main Sickbay was fairly calm aside for the tall thin Chief Doctor walking around hastily, gathering some equipment into a bag. He didn’t look back at the entrance when the Scientist entered, merely paused for a moment before speaking “Ahh, lieutenant Madison, welcome.” He turned around, a friendly smile on his face “Ready to begin our dastardly experiments” He asked reaching behind him and closing the bag.

Dr. Grey - CMO

Liam paused once inside. His eyes promptly found the CMO and narrowed his eyes, suspicion laced them briefly. Internally he debated on asking the question but he decided against it. He shook the thoughts away before he answered.

“As ready as I can be,” his usual bluntness shined through in his words.

A hint of certain could easily be found in his voice. It was hard not to worry that going fully out might cause issues or damage to the ship, something he preferred to avoid at all costs. However, the thought of the unknown being revealed excited him. It was hard to ignore that desire to fully explore it.

He looked around then followed up with what he viewed to be a reasonable question, “Are we experimenting here, or elsewhere? I don’t think we ever fully clarified that.”

Ben looked down at the bag then up at the scientist and gave him an amused smile “I was thinking I’d rather not blow up my Sickbay, I booked us some time on Holodeck 4, I thought that was enough out of the way not to bother anyone and it’s close enough to Sickbay 3 in case you accidentally blow me up” He walked towards Madison and gave him a pat on his shoulder “You ready Commander?”

“Truthfully? No at all,” Liam answered as his head turned to Ben.

His face held the usual mask, but his eyes spoke the truth. He was nervous. Liam shook away the jittery sensation as he turned to the door, and gestured they should move out. During the walk through the corridors, he was quieter than normal. Inside his head was a minefield where ‘what-if’ and worst case scenarios attempted to rattle his decision on this crazy idea. There were strong reasons why he shouldn’t, but his curiosity never faltered.

At arriving at the holodeck, Liam followed Ben inside.

“So… what do you want to test first?” he asked, attempting to look more confident than he really was.

“Well that’s a good question,” He said before turning to the side slightly as if to address a third person in the room =^=Computer, begin Medical Simulation Grey-Madison alpha one=^= He commanded and a moment later they were standing in a large non-descript facility with several testing chambers and other holographic insturments. “I was thinking we test your body itself, low stress factors and build our way up, what do you think?”
