Hey all!

Our Captain is suffering from a nasty bout of pneumonia, so she’s out of commission until she’s feeling better. In the meantime, keep up the good work!

Well, this is fun… not.

It’s not the first time I’ve had pneumonia but I’ve forgotten how hard it hits. I am going to remain on LOA until at least the weekend, but I am slowly going to post here and there. I am not going to be able to get to all threads right off the bat, so please be patient. I will focus on the main sim and work my way from there. If you need me anywhere and I’m missing my queue, please nudge me.

OOC: Okay, so… as you’ve probably noticed, I’m still very slow to post right now. On top of a bad week, recovery is very incremental and I’m having a fibro flare up as a result of being sick, so dealing with the pain and numbness in my hands and arms on top of it all. I’m doing my best, but I ask for your continued patience as I slowly recover.

Quick update, Linds is still not 100% and probably tried a wee bit too fast to get back on top, so she will need some more time to recover now. So let’s keep it going all, we have plenty side-sims to get engaged with and if you feel like you don’t know what to post about, let us know here and we’ll find a nice enticing side-sim for your character - there’s never a lack of ideas on the Athena :-)

Apparently, grocery shopping was a bad idea on the weekend and I ended up in the ER because of continued breathing issues. But my doctor has given me an inhaler and it seems to be helping, so things are looking up!

And then a migraine knocked me down on Saturday. BUT, doing much better and I’m posting and catching up.I’m coming off LOA today. I have a lot of threads going on o the Athena, so it might take more more than a day to get to them all. But we’ll see.
