Liam strolled through the ship’s corridor. His eyes flicked from one officer to another, but lingering little on their outward appearance. Thought darted from one thing to another before it rested on a subject he couldn’t ignore. His parasite. More specifically, its limitations and abilities.

The CSO jerked from his mind when he approached the sickbay. He knew Grey was expecting him. The pair of them had planned to test the creature’s effect on his physical form and its limitations in the holodeck shortly afterward. Now that he was here, he found himself a little hesitant. Resisting the fear, Liam inhaled and pushed past the door into the room.

The Main Sickbay was fairly calm aside for the tall thin Chief Doctor walking around hastily, gathering some equipment into a bag. He didn’t look back at the entrance when the Scientist entered, merely paused for a moment before speaking “Ahh, lieutenant Madison, welcome.” He turned around, a friendly smile on his face “Ready to begin our dastardly experiments” He asked reaching behind him and closing the bag.
