After he had been cleared for duty by both medical and the counsellor, and handed his papers over to Captain Legen, Jamison made his way to the office of the CIO. As was usual for him, Dashel wore his baldric over his uniform and carried his bat’leth. Reaching the door, he rang the chime, this was a bit of professional courtesy, he knew the CIO was the CTO before him, and he figured it was a good chance to find out if there was anything he should know about the ship tactically.

“Enter,” came a voice from inside the office.

When Jamison entered the office, he was see Callahan sitting behind the desk. The office was spartan with few luxuries and all business. A bank of monitors lined the wall behind Harrison and computer terminals on the desk. The only item of personal significance was a framed photo of a man, woman (wearing a Starfleet uniform with LT Cmdr. pips), and a young boy.

Harrison stood as Jamison approached and extended his right hand.

“Lt. Jamison, pleasure to meet you. I’m Lt. Cmdr. Callahan. please have a seat.”
