The Orion swayed a little on his feet but kept taking steps. It seemed better than dying on this hunk of metal.

Meanwhile, Ducante would feel some increasing pain in the left side of abdomen.

Sinara gazed at the tricorder and pointed ahead of them. There was a corner and about twenty metres between them. “There. Human lifesign. And an Orion. Human matches Ducante.” She projected her voice. “Lieutenant Ducante! Call if you can hear us!” Conveniently, the yelling still played into their shtick too.

Harrison increased his pace in the direction Sinara had indicated. They turned the corner and shone their lights down the corridor.

When they had gone far enough, the lights revealed Ducante and the Orion.

“Ducante!! It’s Callahan and Sinara!!” he called out, rushing forward

“Are you hurt?”

=^=We’ve spotted him, Captain. He’s injured, but alive. Has some company with him, too. We’re going to do some quick first aid and then beam them both up.=^=

The large Orion struggled to walk forward and staggered towards the away team. He fell to one knee, pulling Ducante down with him.

“Ahh.” He grunted as they fell. “I’m bruised, but mostly ok. He’s injured more than I am. Found him while trying to find a way out of here. He was trapped under something, I helped him out of it.” Ducante explained. “It’s good to see you guys.” He continued.

“Glad to see you’re still in one piece, Lt. More or less, anyway.”

“Sinara, check out Ducante, i’ll take a look at Jolly Green, here.”

Callahan knelt down beside the Orion, doing a quick triage to assess the man’s injuries. “I’m Lt. Cmdr. Callahan. Same ship as you’re rescuer. What’s your story, big guy?’

The Orion was in pretty bad shape. There were obvious cuts on the man’s bare arms and he could see a deep bruise on his face that did not look fresh from the fall during the explosion. It surrounded one eye and the man had a hard time opening it fully. A quick scan revealed two broken ribs and a hairline fracture of his right femur, along with multiple contusions. But aside from the obvious ones from the fall, there were signs of bruises that were older. There was a medical wrap on his ribs that was Starfleet issue and likely Ducante’s doing.

“Name’s Togge. I was a level up when the explosion happened. They’ve been holding me prisoner.” The Orion paused to catch his breath. “They’re waiting for the Ferengi to come back, then I’ll be gone. They didn’t say who I’d be sold to, just that I’d probably prefer the Romulans, over the Gorn.” He huffed something of a laugh.

Sinara just gave a quick nod and moved over to Owen. Her eyes surveyed him first before she scanned him with the tricorder. “How bad’s the pain?” the asked the COS. She could already see the growing internal bleeding and that was enough to call over to Callhan. “We need to get them back to the ship ASAP.”

It was then that an alert status was triggered within the structure.

“It’s bearable.” He stated. “It just hurts when I move.” He tried to laugh. “That alarm means they either know you two are here, or he escaped, well, that alarm is not a good sound.” He stated, thinking out loud.
Lt. Ducante, Chief of Security

“Oh, they already know Sinara and I are here. We made sure of it. They gave us the okay to look for you. Jolly Green’s just a bonus.”

Harrison slapped his comm badge. =^=Athena, this is Callahan. Ducante and the Orion need to beamed immediately to sickbay. Alarms are sounding here now. What’s the staus of Callaway and Dawson?=^=
