Cara finally arrived at sickbay 1 and it had been a bit of a walk through the ship to find it despite the fact she studied the schematics of Athena before hand. Cara couldn’t wait to get acquainted with her equipement and her fellow medical officers. She paused by the door a moment to tucked stray black hair back into her braid on her head and was trying to catch her breath before she met her CMO. When the doors slid open Cara took a deep breath as she held her bag over her arm. Her deep green eyes looked around in awe at the the bio-beds and the scanners and relaxed. This was what she knew and was familiar.
“Ensign Daniels reporting,” Cara announced to the first person she saw. Hopefully she would be directed what to do from here.

Behind the desk sat a thin man holding a metal cup and humming a song. He was reading something on his desk Console. He looked up at the young Ensign in a slow, almost lazy manner and half smiled “Right, Daniels. Please sit” There was the slightest hint of a Scottish heritage could be heard but he was very well spoken. He looked directly in her eyes, answering green with green. He couldn’t be more than a few years older than her. “So, tell me about yerself” He leaned forward in his seat and started tapping leisurely with his left hand on the console, not releasing his cup from his right. He seemed extremely relaxed at the current moment.
