The soft buzz of conversation filled the lounge, blending with the low hum of the ship’s systems. Tyler sat near the center of the room, comfortably angled toward the flow of traffic, his drink in hand and a faint, easy smile playing at the corner of his mouth.

He wasn’t in uniform tonight — just a sleeveless dark shirt that showed the multiple tattoos across his arms: constellations, blue-green leaves, and faint geometric lines that shifted subtly as he moved. The designs seemed to tell a story without words, hints of science and nature woven together with deliberate artistry.

His left arm rested lazily across the back of the empty chair beside him, fingers drumming idly — a casual posture that carried more invitation than intent. The amber liquid in his glass caught the light as he took another slow sip, savoring it rather than rushing.

Letting his gaze wander, he scanned the room for a bartender, sipping the last of his drink.

OOC: Anybody? lol

OOC: I’ll play along. What years was he on the Atlantis? I know I had Relann there then, but I can’t remember if Tyler was there when the Atlantis rescued Faye and she awhile there.
IC:
Faye spoke softly to the replicator and watched as the coffee shimmered into being. Turning with graceful precision on the ball of her foot, she surveyed the room. Normally she would veer immediately for a table at one of the windows, letting the passing star field or the inky dark of in between give her a moment of mental and sensory pause. Instead, her gaze landed on a new figure. While she skimmed every new crew transfer file (that was usually enough for her to remember the gist), some files captured her attention enough that she read more thoroughly.

Dark brown hair in a tidy french braid, she moved with utter intention and focus, her uniform division colours marking her as an Intelligence officer. Her rank, well, around here that didn’t mean so much but she was proud of being a department head after all these years (especially after she rather comically refused the role earlier in her career).

Mug in hands, she approached directly in his line of sight, not intending to sneak up on him or anything. “Hi, might I sit?” she asked, proud of herself that she actually
asked first (Dag would probably laugh when she told him later).
