It was deep into Gamma Shift when Lt. Cmdr Harrison Callahan’s shuttle arrived at the Athena. As such, a very junior officer greeted him as he exited the shuttle. The poor kid looked like he was ready to pass out. Consistent yawns made their appearance as he gave the new Chief of Ops, his cabin number, times for his medical check-in, psych eval, and with the XO, Lt. Cmdr. Stone.

His first appointments wasn’t scheduled until 0900 in Sickbay. That gave him some time to get settled into his cabin, as well as freshen up or catch a nap before hand.

As he walked along the corridor, he met very few crewmembers and most were sleeping during this night watch. The few he did meet, he acknowledged with a nod and polite hello . . . .
