The doors to Sickbay parted with a hiss and a hum, revealing not a patient, not a petitioner, but… a performance.Rollin entered like a breeze scented with orchids and trouble, his white-and-gold robes cascading behind him in gently manipulated waves. The soft footfalls of his boots whispered across the deck, almost ceremonial. He paused just inside the threshold and let his gaze drift upward—taking in the clean lines, the gleaming consoles, the quiet urgency that always lingered in a place built for healing.
“Oh my,” he breathed. “So this is where you tuck broken things back together. How deeply romantic.”
He took three steps in, hands folded at his waist, long fingers glittering with rings that caught the sterile lighting and made it theatrical. The scent of sandalwood followed him—subtle, warm, and wholly out of place. And yet… not unwelcome.
“I was told a physical wasn’t mandatory for civilians,” he announced, eyes scanning the room like a guest of honor waiting for the orchestra to start. “But where’s the fun in that?”
His voice lowered, smooth as velvet over glass.
“Besides, I thought it only fair to give someone the privilege of scanning this temple of a body before I start dazzling the crew. Call it… preventative medicine.”
He stopped beside a biobed and gave it a little pat.
“So,” he said brightly, eyes twinkling, “who here has the honor of laying their tricorder upon me?”
He smiled—not just flirtatiously, but with genuine anticipation.
-Rollin
Just Rollin. That’s quite enough, Darling.A tall, thin man walked towards the Deltan civilian. He wore a long white coat over his Lieutenant’s medical uniform, dark brown hair and bright green eyes. He did not have a very pleased expression as he walked towards Rollin. He reached into his neckline and pulled out a small necklace, flicked it open and inhaled twice, deeply each time. He usually didn’t take more than one dose at a time, but Deltan biology had always been the bane of the Grey Family, at least to Ben, they only smelled odd. “I’m Doctor Grey” He said, putting the necklace back “Please have a seat” He was polite but not overly pleasant.
Doctor Grey
CMORollin turned his head toward the voice, his expression blooming like a sunrise as the doctor approached. The man was striking—sleek and severe in that way that suggested discipline had bested vanity in some long-ago duel. But those eyes. Green as new leaves and twice as unreadable.
“Doctor Grey,” he repeated, like a taste he might like to linger on.
“Isn’t that lovely. Like rainclouds at dusk.”The doctor inhaled something from a pendant with practiced efficiency, his manner clinical and cool. Rollin didn’t flinch. Didn’t bristle. He only smiled more warmly, like someone being handed a scarf by an old friend who didn’t want to admit they were cold.
He moved without protest, taking his seat on the biobed with the practiced grace of a man who had never once doubted he belonged wherever he chose to be.
“I hope that wasn’t on my account,” he said gently, nodding toward the doctor’s inhaler. “Though I do have a terrible habit of leaving an impression.”
-Rollin
Just Rollin. That’s quite enough, Darling.Near the office area of this particular Sickbay, was a young woman, studying a PaDD and trying very hard to look busy. Turning to another task she bumped straight into the edge of a doorway, not hard, but enough to make her pause. Then shift clear of it, and breezed past Doctor Gray and the positively radiant lounge host, with a murmured “‘Scuse me, Doctor.” Even though her words were for the Chief Medical officer, money-green eyes glanced at his patient for a moment, before shuffling along.
Lt., j.g. Dain, Doctor
Rollin’s head turned the moment she passed—the way wind turns leaves, unhurried but inevitable. The motion was quiet, reverent, as though her presence had rung some small, delicate bell in the corner of his awareness.
She walked by with a murmured excuse and eyes that flicked toward him, just briefly—but it was enough. Those green eyes weren’t just striking, they were precise. The kind that didn’t just look; they noticed.
And the hair—jet black and luminous, like a night sky with its own gravity.
Rollin drew in a soft, theatrical breath and placed one hand gently to his chest.
“Goodness,” he murmured, watching her retreat with open admiration. “She nearly stole my breath—and didn’t even stop to leave a forwarding address.”
He turned slightly toward Dr. Grey with a glimmer in his eye.
“Dr. Grey, I’m beginning to suspect there’s a policy in place—no one gets hired in this Sickbay unless they’re absolutely devastating.”
And then, almost as an afterthought—yet perfectly timed:
“No wonder Sickbay’s always so full.”
He crossed one leg over the other, looking perfectly at ease on the biobed, but now… very intrigued.

Just Rollin. That’s quite enough, Darling.BUMP
((Don’t be waitin’ on me, I’m just passin’ through. Cameo for funzies. Unless…))
Rollin tilted his head ever so slightly, eyes still lingering toward the corridor where the green-eyed doctor had vanished. The corner of his mouth curled with a secret he seemed just on the verge of sharing.
“Dr. Grey…” His voice dropped into a dramatic whisper, hand fanning delicately over his brow. “I fear you may have lost me. Not to illness, nor injury… but to sheer neglect.”
He gave a long, luxurious sigh, then let his hand fall away with exaggerated despair. “For you see, you’ve gone utterly still. Silent. Paralyzed.” His eyes sparkled with mischief. “And while I flatter myself that it must be my devastating beauty that’s struck you so dumb, I simply cannot abide the thought of withering away here on this biobed while my physician has turned to stone.”
He straightened, calling just a touch louder in the direction the younger doctor had gone:
“Doctor—whoever you are with the eyes that could undo empires—would you be so kind as to rescue your colleague? I do believe poor Dr. Grey could use your… steadying hand.”
Rollin leaned back against the biobed cushions with the serene confidence of a man who knew his summons would be answered, a smile tugging at his lips.
